About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and technically competent Project Engineer to support ongoing metro power supply system projects in Singapore. This role covers engineering design, procurement, and construction coordination of power supply and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, quality, and schedule requirements. The position offers exposure to major rail infrastructure projects and collaboration with international and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
Project Engineering & Coordination
  • Manage and coordinate power supply system design, procurement, and installation activities
  • Monitor project progress, cost control, and quality to achieve project milestones
  • Review and endorse technical drawings, reports, specifications, and method statements
Design & Technical Management
  • Support design development and design review for substations, traction power, and power distribution systems
  • Resolve technical, design, and site-related issues in coordination with consultants and contractors
  • Participate in tender preparation, technical clarifications, and bid evaluations
Site Supervision & Commissioning
  • Conduct site supervision, inspections, testing, and commissioning works
  • Ensure construction works comply with approved designs, standards, and safety requirements
Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare technical submissions, inspection reports, progress updates, and as-built documentation
  • Support project meetings, design review meetings, and coordination sessions
Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, project specifications, and safety standards
  • Promote safe working practices on site in accordance with project and company policies
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related discipline
  • 3–5 years of experience in project engineering, design, or construction for metro, railway, or large-scale electrical infrastructure projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of substation systems, traction power, and power distribution
  • Familiar with project management processes, technical standards, and authority requirements
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English (Mandarin is an advantage)
  • Willing to work on project sites as required
