Engineering Assistant (Testing/NPI)
Job summary
A leading semiconductor company in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to maintain and troubleshoot semiconductor test equipment. Candidates should possess a diploma in Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective communication skills for a global environment, and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include calibrating power supplies, resolving technical issues, and documenting test results.
Qualifications
- Experience in the semiconductor field will be considered.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
- Able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, set up, and troubleshoot semiconductor test equipment.
- Calibrate power supply and verify multimeters.
- Document and report test results promptly.
- Perform root cause analysis to resolve test issues.
Skills
Education
- Maintenance, set-up and troubleshooting of semiconductor test equipments.
- Calibration of power supply and verification of multimeter.
- Ensure proper wiring and meet 6S/EHS requirements.
- Ensure tardiness of test equipment and working environment.
- Resolve all technical issues during acceptance checks.
- Perform root cause analysis to resolve test issues and improve equipment consistency.
- Document and report test results promptly.
- Verify and release engineering work orders.
- Execute equipment evaluations, upgrades, and maintenance per engineering requests.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering, experience in the semiconductor field will also be considered.
- Cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with global stakeholders in MNC setting.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and time management skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
