Job summary

A prominent employer in Singapore is seeking a professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in consolidation and financial accounting. The role involves preparing quarterly consolidated trial balances, journal entries, and reporting packages while ensuring compliance with IFRS. Proficiency in Japanese is required for liaising with counterparts, along with strong Excel skills. Candidates with experience in handling consolidation for multiple overseas subsidiaries will have an added advantage. Excellent organizational and communication skills are also essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in consolidation accounting and/or financial accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with FRS or J‑GAAP is an added advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills, including IF functions, Index functions, and Pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Collect and verify financial data from group companies and prepare quarterly consolidated trial balance.
• Prepare consolidation journal entries, including elimination of investments and intercompany transactions.
• Compile quarterly consolidated reporting packages and supporting documents.
