Responsibilities
- Greet every customer and serve with a smile.
- Understand beverages and food items to introduce to customers.
- Keep bread and cake displays stocked and maintain the POS system.
- Calibrate coffee and maintain service standards.
- Heat pastries and prepare takeaway orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café and wash dishes.

- Prioritize customers: greet every customer, treat them as guests, serve with a smile, and take initiative to approach and build rapport.
- Product knowledge: understand beverages and food items so you can introduce them to customers.
- Ensure bread and cake displays are fully stocked at opening and maintained throughout operating hours; update stock levels and availability on the POS system.
- Barista duties: keep coffee calibrated and maintain service standards; brew coffee, tea, and Milo dispensers for pre‑orders.
- Suggestive selling: recommend promotional items to every guest.
- Food preparation: heat pastries, pack takeaway orders, and make sandwiches.
- Maintain cleanliness & tidiness of the café: wipe glass displays and doors, arrange chairs neatly, clear and wipe tables promptly.
- Wash dishes, sweep & mop the floor, and clean the toilet.
- Perform any other duties as required by the company.
