Job summary
A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a professional to provide inpatient financial counselling. The successful candidate will assist patients and their families with financial queries related to healthcare options and payment methods. Responsibilities include handling financial enquiries, case closures, and supporting departmental administrative needs. Ideal candidates should have a diploma and strong interpersonal skills, with at least one year of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Preferably with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Highly motivated, independent and adaptable to change.
- Meticulous in work and capable of handling financial data.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient financial counselling to patients and their next-of-kin.
- Attend to financial counselling enquiries and follow through case closures.
- Maintain secured document keeping and participate in quality improvement projects.
Skills
Education
You will provide inpatient financial counselling to patients and their next-of-kin involving patient consent and authorization, estimated bills, healthcare financing and assistance schemes, payment options and payment collection. You will attend to financial counselling enquiries and follow through timely case closures. Other responsibilities include computation of statistical information, checking of document completeness, maintaining secured document keeping, participating in quality improvement projects, and providing administrative support to the department.
