Job summary

Job description
Job Purpose

Support the Team Lead, IT OPS as well as SIN COO to manage the Information technology operations function of SIN Branch. Responsible for the day-to-day IT operations and maintenance of SIN branch IT and network infrastructure, while managing IT project initiatives and implementation for SIN branch. Provides leadership and guidance to the team of IT engineers.

IT Function

Responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance of IT infrastructure within the branch and network including

  • Provide desktop support to business users, attends to any technical and operational issues on IT hardware, software and network related problems
  • On-and off-boarding staff and desk movement.
  • Provides basic administration support of Windows production servers
  • Provides support to business users on video conferencing on Microsoft Service Hub using MS Team, VoIP on Avaya IP phones/Softphones and IPC turrets for Treasury
  • Maintenance of local server room that equips with system racks, fire suppressing agent, UPS, water leakage, humidity control, etc.

Oversee and manage hardware and equipment inventory management. Technology refresh of end-of-life IT endpoints/assets

Operations & Control
  • Working closely and coordinating with Group IT counterparts on escalation and management of IT incidents (Remedy) and problem management tickets, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to Service Level Agreements.
  • Align with GHO IT policies, guidelines & standards and maintain IT documentation for all operational procedures, network changes and policies for SIN branch
Regulatory Requirement
  • Review and monitor IT outsourcing agreement/activities and its KPI
  • Manage and ensure rollout of patches/security fixes/system
  • Enhancement for all servers and endpoints
  • Ensure that BCP and DR (on group applications) are tested annually
  • Initiate and review IT Outsourcing agreement at least once a year.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory guidelines
Relationship Management / Stakeholder engagement
  • Co-ordinate with various department within the branch on IT matters
  • Liaison with external vendors
  • Maintain cordial relationship with all relevant Group IT personnel in the Head Office.
Requirement
  • Min Diploma. Bachelor’s degree is preferred or a related field.
  • Min 15 years working in IT Department.
  • Min 10 years as IT Lead or Manager within banking environment.
  • Familiar with MAS TRM guidelines and relevant notices
  • Understanding of Windows Server 2016/2019 – Active Directory and domain services, file and print management, etc.
  • Good understanding of IT network infrastructure on Firewall, Router, Switch, Network Access Control, Aruba Wireless controller and Clearpass, etc. to perform basic network troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Office 365 application, essentially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint etc.
  • Independent, pro-active and has initiative
  • Team player, Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and hard working
