A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Production Executive to oversee production operations. The role includes managing production schedules, ensuring product quality, and leading a team of supervisors and operators. Candidates should possess a degree in Engineering or Business Administration, with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in packaging or FMCG industries. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to drive continuous improvement and achieve production targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To manage in Production Department in achieving safety, quality, service, waste, cost-out and productivity goals. Strong leadership to the team and managing the systems, equipment, people and materials according to the established policies, procedures, specifications, and customer requirements. To responsible for upholding the system and procedures in manufacturing.
Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of the production processes, ensuring the operations run smoothly, efficiently and safely
Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet company targets and customer demands, optimizing resources and minimizing downtime
Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications, implementing quality control measures and addressing any production issues.
Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for staff
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains, implementing best practices and new technologies. Support in implementing Industry 5.0 initiatives as per company’s Digital Transformation Roadmap.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as yield, output, quality, and downtime, to senior management.
Budget Management: Manage the production output, efficiency and wastage to be within target KPIs.
Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in production processes, equipment reliability, and workforce skills development.
Crisis Management: Quickly address and resolve any production-related issues, minimizing impact on operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration or related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in the manufacturing environment
Good leadership skills with 5+ years of prior experience as Production Executive/Supervisor in a manufacturing environment (packaging industries, Printing or FMCG is a plus)
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Demonstrate ability to manage and inspire staff to achieve targets
Experience in managing a high volume, high mix production facility
Have Capability to Manage Internal & External Stakeholders
Experience in implementing of Continuous Improvement Methodology to the shop floor (eg: IWS, TPM, 6 Sigma)
