Job summary

A leading hotel in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Front Office Associate to manage guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have prior Front Office experience and be skilled in using Opera software, thriving in a fast-paced environment and contributing positively to the team.

Qualifications

  • Previous Front Office experience in a similar environment is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Opera is preferred.
  • Customer-oriented with a pleasant disposition.

Responsibilities

  • Check-in and check-out guests, resolving any disputes.
  • Process payments and assist with directions and local information.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping on room readiness.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

· Attend to all guests’ check-in by confirming reservations, assigning room, issuing and activating room key.

· Attend to guests’ check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges.

· Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.

· Assist guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.

· Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.

· Attend to all guests’ requests and queries promptly, politely and efficiently.

· Ensure a high level of customer service is consistently maintained to ensure guests’ satisfaction.

Requirements

· Previous Front Office experience in a similar environment will be an advantage

· Working knowledge of Opera is preferred

· Team player but also able to work independently

· Customer oriented with a pleasant disposition

· Able to multi task and thrive in a fast paced environment

· Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holiday
