General Operations Manager – E-commerce

Location: West Singapore

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic General Operations Manager – E-commerce to lead and scale our e-commerce business. This role is responsible for end-to-end operations across online platforms, including business strategy, platform performance, team leadership, supply chain coordination, and data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and is comfortable managing complexity in a fast-growing e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. E-commerce Business Leadership
  • Own the overall performance of the e-commerce business, including revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency

  • Develop and execute annual and quarterly business plans aligned with company objectives

  • Oversee multi-platform operations (e.g. Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, DTC websites)

2. Platform & Growth Strategy
  • Define platform-specific growth strategies, including pricing, promotions, assortment planning, and campaign execution

  • Build and manage relationships with platform partners, MCNs, creators, and external stakeholders

  • Identify new growth opportunities, channels, and business models

3. Team & Cross-Functional Management
  • Lead, mentor, and scale cross-functional teams across operations, content, customer service, and supply chain

  • Establish KPIs, SOPs, and performance management frameworks

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, Warehouse, Logistics, and external vendors

4. Supply Chain & Fulfilment Oversight
  • Oversee inventory planning, warehousing, fulfilment, and last-mile delivery

  • Optimise supply chain costs, service levels, and operational processes

  • Manage supplier and third-party logistics partnerships

5. Data & Performance Management
  • Use data and analytics to monitor performance, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement

  • Produce regular management reports, business reviews, and strategic insights for senior leadership

  • Improve key metrics such as conversion rate, ROI, margin, and inventory turnover

Requirements
Must-Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field

  • 5+ years of e-commerce experience, with 2–3 years in a management or leadership role

  • Strong understanding of major e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, etc.)

  • Solid commercial acumen and analytical mindset

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have
  • Experience scaling an e-commerce business or building operations from 0 to 1

  • Exposure to Southeast Asia or cross-border e-commerce operations

  • Background in content commerce, influencer marketing, or MCN operations

  • Experience in start-ups or high-growth environments
