Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions using Java (backend) and React (frontend).
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with microservices, messaging systems, and external platforms.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and BAs to translate wealth management requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and compliance with banking security standards.
• Develop and optimize relational database queries, including joins, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and maintain high unit/integration test coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment automation.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field .
• Atleast 10 years of experience in software development in banking or financial services.
• Strong backend expertise with Java (Java 8 and above, Spring/Spring Boot).
• Frontend development experience with ReactJS (knowledge of Angular is a good to have).
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, JMS/MQ, and SOAP services.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases with query optimization skills.
• Hands-on with Maven, Git, CI/CD tools, and basic Linux scripting.
• Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and TDD practices.
• Familiarity with SonarQube/SonarLint and code quality tools.
• Professional certifications (Java, AWS, Agile, or Banking-related) will be good to have.
