Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee finance operations and provide strategic financial support to enable business performance, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements.

  • Report to CFO to understand the financial metric.
  • Management of Finance Team to set up Financial Reporting System.
  • Supporting senior management in developing plans for financial growth including setting KPIs for the departments.
  • Responsible for monthly closing, periodic forecasting, results analysis, budgeting, annual audit, filing of year end annual returns.
  • Responsible for compliance with the Accounting Standards, legal and statutory requirements.
  • Ensures all accounting standards, policies and procedures and internal controls are reviewed and implemented.
  • Ensure accuracy of actual results reported with minimal errors in accounting.
  • Administers cash flow management.
  • Reviews payment advices and signing of bank cheques or remittances jointly with the Manager, Managing Director, CFO or other designated executives as per policies.
  • Review, renew and maintenance all leases and contracts, and to authorise all contracts except for sales contracts.
  • Administers all matters pertaining to corporate income tax and property tax matters.
  • Acts as liaison person with auditors, bankers, tax agents and other external parties.
  • Timely provision of ad hoc information to senior management
