Responsibilities
- Acquires knowledge in understanding Events Orders and related policies.
- Responsible for daily operation of an outlet or section.
- Conducts roll calls for service staff to brief on operations.
- Inspects the outlet before service to ensure readiness.
- Plans the station layout.
- Maintains high service standards.
- Handles and solves complaints.
- Handles enquiries and takes reservations.
- Ensures safety and well-being of staff and guests.
- Performs monthly stock take.
- Initiates requisitions for food and beverages.
- Receives guests and provides service as per procedures.
- Maintains good knowledge of the food and beverage menu.
- Ensures cleanliness of service items and furniture.
- Performs opening and closing duties.
- Adheres to hygiene standards.
- Takes food and beverage orders and serves promptly.
- Encourages repeat patronage by providing excellent service.
- Handles billing for services rendered.
- Performs bar service duties.
- Assists in other relevant F&B duties as assigned.
- Maintains high standard of personal appearance.
- Reduces waste by handling food and beverages carefully.
- Briefs subordinates on F&B activities and promotions.
- Maintains cordial relations with members and guests.
- Assists in handling enquiries about other outlets.
Responsibilities
- Acquires knowledge in the understanding of Events Orders, policies and procedures to ensure that all functions are carried out to requirements and to the full satisfaction of the organiser.
- Is responsible for the daily operation of an outlet or section of an outlet
- Conducts roll calls for service staff to brief them of operational matters and to inspect their appearance.
- Inspects the outlet, or the section of the outlet under his/her purview, before every service period to ensure that all mise en place is in order and that the outlet is ready for operation in all aspects.
- Plans the station layout
- Maintains an excellent standard of service in the area under their purview.
- Handles and solves complaints. Reports all complaints, comments and compliments to the superior.
- Handles enquiries pertaining to the outlet, takes reservation and is responsible for the allocation of tables.
- Ensures the safety and well being of the public, staff, equipment and goods at all times.
- Performs monthly stock take.
- Initiates requisitions and transfers for foods and beverages as and when required.
- Receives guests and provides service according to established procedures in a friendly and professional manner.
- Acquires and maintains good knowledge of the food and beverage menu at the outlet.
- Ensures that silverware, chinaware, glassware and other accessories are clean and in good condition.
- Ensures that all side station, table and other furniture and fixtures are clean before, during and after service so that the outlet looks neat and tidy at all times. Rectifies any shortcoming if possible, or informs the immediate superior of such shortcomings.
- Performs opening and closing duties as directed.
- Adheres to NEA hygiene standard at all times.
- Takes Food and beverage orders, sets in cutlery according to orders and serves these orders in a prompt manner.
- Encourages repeat patronage and revenues by providing excellent service, by up selling and by recommending additional services and activities.
- Handles billing for services rendered.
- Performs bar service duties.
- Assists in any other relevant duties pertaining to F&B services in any F&B outlet as assigned.
- Maintains a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Reduces waste and expenses by handling all foods, beverages and equipment with care and diligence.
- Acquires knowledge and briefs subordinates of F&B and Club activities and promotions and encourages members to order/patronise these.
- Maintains warm, cordial and professional relations with members and their guests, without intruding into their privacy or discussing personal matters.
- Assists in handling enquiries pertaining to other outlets or other departments, where possible.
- Carries out any other related task assigned by the immediate superior.
