Job Description for Interior Designer

Meet clients to understand design requirements, lifestyle needs, budgets, and timelines

Develop design concepts, mood boards, space planning, and material selections

Prepare design drawings including layout plans, elevations, 3D visuals, and perspectives

Produce detailed construction drawings for submission and execution

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure design intent is executed accurately

Conduct site visits, project coordination, and progress monitoring

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Ensure designs comply with BCA, SCDF, and relevant Singapore building regulations

Assist with material sourcing, quotations, and cost control

Handle client feedback and resolve design or site issues professionally
