Internal Audit Manager, Actuarial/Insurance

Our client, a leading insurer, is looking for an Internal Audit Manager to lead risk-based audits, manage stakeholders, and develop high-performing audit teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end audit engagements, from risk assessment and scoping through fieldwork, reporting, and remediation follow-up under the risk-based Audit Plan
• Manage stakeholders and audit teams, including coaching junior auditors, coordinating third-party resources, and ensuring timely, high-quality audit delivery
• Provide value-added insights, identifying root causes, emerging risks, and process improvement opportunities, while partnering closely with 1st and 2nd lines of defence

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk, or assurance, ideally within financial services (insurance and/or investments preferred)
• Candidates with Actuarial qualifications are preferred
