Job description

A well-established real estate investment platform is seeking a high‑calibre Analyst / Senior Analyst to join its investment team. This role will support investment and divestment activities across the real estate portfolio, with responsibilities spanning financial analysis, due diligence, market research, and transaction execution. The position offers strong exposure to institutional‑grade investments and capital management activities.

The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in real estate fundamentals, financial modelling, and investment analysis, and will thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis on real estate investment opportunities and target markets
• Evaluate financial performance, market dynamics, and asset valuations to assess risks and returns
• Perform financial and investment analyses to support acquisition and divestment decisions
• Build and maintain financial models for prospective investments and portfolio scenarios
• Assist with due diligence processes for investment and divestment transactions
• Prepare investment papers, divestment materials, and presentations for senior stakeholders and capital partners
• Work closely with asset management teams to monitor and analyse portfolio performance
• Coordinate with internal and external parties including tax, finance, legal, and third‑party advisors to support transaction execution
• Prepare detailed investment analysis, forecasts, and reporting materials
• Stay abreast of real estate market trends, economic conditions, capital markets, and regulatory developments
• Support relationship management with investors, brokers, advisors, and other industry participants

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related discipline
• 1‑3 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, private equity, investment banking, or a related role
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in financial modelling and investment analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• High level of resilience, perseverance, and stamina
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Background in accounting or finance, and experience in investment banking or real estate private equity, is advantageous
• Professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, CPA) are a plus
• Proficiency in one or more Asian languages is an advantage
