Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Sales Promoter for a 1-year contract. The ideal candidate will help customers find the right products and promote FMCG items in pharmacies and departmental stores. Responsibilities include setting up attractive displays, delivering presentations, and meeting sales targets. A strong background in retail and product promotion is preferred. This role offers a competitive salary package with basic pay and commission.

Qualifications

• Experience in promoting products in chain pharmacies or departmental stores.
• Retailer experience preferred for merchandising requirements.
• Familiarity with retail operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Listening to customers’ needs and assisting in product selection.
• Building product knowledge and delivering engaging presentations.
• Setting up attractive displays and promotional booths.
• Distributing samples and providing feedback for improvements.
• Meeting daily sales targets and submitting reports.

Job description

Position title: Sales Promoter (1 yr contract)

Location: Mustafa & Haniffa

Working days: 6 days per week, 1 weekday off

Working hours: 1pm – 10pm (1 hr meal break)

Salary :

$1,500 basic + Incentive $400 + Commission (0.5 to 5%) = Gross possible up to$2400-2500

Job Responsibilities

• Listening and understanding customers’ needs, assist them to find the perfect product for their needs.
• Constantly building product knowledge and delivering this knowledge in engaging ways.
• Setting up attractive product displays and promotional booths.
• Delivering presentations and demonstrations to customers and other stakeholders.
• Distributing samples and providing feedback for improvement to the management team.
• Following up with customers and providing guidance on product selection.
• Meeting daily targets and submitting sales reports.
• Networking with relevant stakeholders.
• Searching for new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in promoting FMCG/OTC products in chain pharmacies and departmental stores
• Retailer experience, will be a plus as well – this is for our merchandising and inventory management requirement, which is part and parcel of a promoter role as well
• Preferable with experience in retail
