Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in Khobar. This role is vital for our accounting operations, involving bank reconciliations, fiscal audits, accounts payable and receivable, and expertise in liability, asset, and capital accounts. Candidates should have strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles, taxes, and ERP systems, and must be a native Arabic speaker. 1. Perform, review, or audit journal entries, account analyses, workpapers, and reconciliations; assist in month-end close, consolidation, external audits, and tax returns.
2. Analyze financial results and provide management with insights and recommendations.
3. Prepare budgets, projections, product cost analyses, and review internal controls.
4. Research and plan according to accounting standards and laws; make recommendations to management.
5. Lead special projects as assigned.
6. Adhere to SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
7. Understand, Create, and Simplify processes.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Innovative, motivated, and self-directed.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP, Tax, IFRS, or related principles.
• 3+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong communication skills in writing, documentation, and speaking.
• Ability to learn new skills and responsibilities.
• Teamwork skills.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug test.
