Details of the Division and Team :

The Regulatory Operations Analyst, in partnership with stakeholders, is responsible for defining and implementing procedures that provide regulatory operations services across various divisions of the bank and its group entities. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the bank’s regulatory team to translate regulations into operational processes and procedures, supported by necessary development of the bank’s information technology infrastructure. Many processes are time-sensitive due to regulator-imposed deadlines, making completeness essential.

The Regulatory Operations Analyst may also handle trade surveillance across all five of the bank's asset classes and contribute to vendor governance and management. Transformation and innovation are central when translating regulatory requests into system-ready changes. The role requires analysis, documentation, testing, and some project management skills, all focused on risk mitigation while complying with local, regional, global policies, and external regulations.

Your key responsibilities :

• Reconciliation :
• Monitoring daily cash and TF reconciliation
• Following up on reconciliation issues
• Maintaining files, reports, documentation, and data
• Serving as the first point of contact between Business and Operations

Static Data :

• Handling client documentation, including scanning and filing physical documents
• Liaising with key partners and stakeholders such as Compliance, Business, and relevant teams within GTO
• Providing reconciliation and client number data to Finance
• Monitoring dormant and nil accounts

Regulatory Reporting :

Responding to SAMA inquiries and actions via electronic platforms, physical letters, and emails, in strict accordance with SAMA requirements and internal policies, including client relation, transaction, and documentation checks.

Others :

• Building and maintaining effective relationships with business lines, Compliance, Credit, Management, and other Back Office areas
• Maintaining regular contact with Compliance
• Ensuring all MIS meets business, regulatory, and internal reporting expectations
• Identifying emerging risks within regulatory inquiries and working with relevant parties to mitigate them
• Reporting concerns related to financial crimes to the compliance head
• Supporting project teams with FATCA/KYC processes

Your skills and experience :

• 2 to 5 years of business experience
• University education
• Energetic, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to industry trends, products, and processes
• Strong communication skills for interaction across all levels
• Effective problem-solving skills and clear communication with partners
• Highly organized with attention to detail and strong execution skills
• Good understanding of Regulatory & Compliance frameworks and internal risk controls
