Job summary

A leading automotive company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Stockyard Operations Manager to oversee daily stockyard operations, ensure product quality, and manage inventory control processes. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong leadership and organizational skills. This role may require travel between Buraidah and Jeddah.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in stockyard, warehouse, or fleet management.
  • Knowledge of QA processes for machinery/vehicles.
  • Ability to travel between Buraidah and Jeddah.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Buraidah and Jeddah stockyards.
  • Ensure proper receiving, inspection, and safe storage of all incoming products.
  • Implement quality checks at each stage of product lifecycle.

Job description
Stockyard Operations Management
  • Manage day-to-day operations of both Buraidah WS, Stockyard and Jeddah stockyards.
  • Ensure proper receiving, inspection, and safe storage of all incoming products.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, including stock counts and record accuracy.
New Product Lifecycle Management
  • Supervise the complete lifecycle from receiving to final delivery to customers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) according to OEM standards.
  • Coordinate stock maintenance schedules for all stock units to keep them in prime condition.
Quality Assurance
  • Implement and monitor quality checks at each stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues in coordination with the Service and Quality teams.
  • Ensure that any damaged or defective units are reported on timely basis, documented, and addressed as per company policy.
Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, QA or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in stockyard, warehouse, or fleet management (preferably in heavy equipment).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of PDI and QA processes for machinery/vehicles.
  • Proficient in MS Office and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to travel between Buraidah and Jeddah as required.
