Job summary

A leading technology firm in Al Jubayl is seeking a qualified individual to manage work permits and ensure compliance with safety regulations at industrial sites. The ideal candidate must possess strong knowledge of PTW systems and site safety procedures, with exceptional communication skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities include reviewing work permits, conducting toolbox talks, and monitoring work activities. This role is critical to maintaining safe working conditions and compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of PTW systems and procedures.
• Ability to interpret method statements, JSAs, and risk assessments.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and understand approved work permits before work activities.
• Verify that all permit requirements and safety controls are implemented.
• Conduct toolbox talks to ensure worker understanding of permit conditions.
• Coordinate with Permit Issuers and Client representatives.
• Monitor ongoing activities and stop work in unsafe conditions.

Job description

• Receive, review, and understand approved work permits prior to commencement of any work activities.
• Verify that all permit requirements, safety controls, isolation points, and precautionary measures are properly implemented on site.
• Ensure all works are executed strictly within the scope, validity, and conditions of the issued permit.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure all workers understand permit conditions, hazards, and safe work methods.
• Coordinate closely with Permit Issuers, HSE team, Operations, and Client representatives.
• Monitor ongoing work activities and immediately stop work in case of unsafe conditions or permit violations.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with water treatment facility safety standards (chemical handling, confined spaces, electrical works, hot works, etc.).
• Maintain work permits at the job site and ensure timely closure upon work completion.
• Report incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, or conditions in accordance with project requirements.
• Comply with Royal Commission Jubail HSE regulations and project-specific safety procedures.
