Overview

Siemens Energy Performance Services (EPS) Sales Engineer is part of the Energy Performance Services team within Smart Infrastructure. Based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this role supports the EPS portfolio by identifying value-added services and solutions, developing technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating with sales, technical, execution, and procurement teams to meet customer needs and timelines.

Responsibilities
  • Develop sales leads following the strategy and market approach set by sales management.
  • Identify value-added services & solutions for customers and prepare sales slides for customer orientation.
  • Approach targeted customers and schedule sales meetings; identify customer pain points and propose concepts that fit budget and needs.
  • Prepare sales funnel with estimated winning weight for each lead/opportunity.
  • Lead bids through from receipt to submission; align with technical team to develop solutions and with execution team for timelines.
  • Prepare BoQ for developed solutions and cost materials/services; coordinate with procurement for third-party costs.
  • Obtain all necessary internal/external approvals and prepare technical/commercial proposal analyses and writeups.
  • Follow up the sales cycle and post-bid requirements with customers.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in sales.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency, sustainability, green buildings, and renewable energy.
  • Certified Energy Manager is a plus.
  • Strong communication, self-reliance, and quick-learning abilities.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
