Overview
Job Purpose:
The infrastructure assistant development manager will be a part of the Cooperative technical and engineering team and will be responsible for being MEP systems technical expert.
Responsibilities
- Technical resources for MEP and FLS infrastructure systems, SLD, design, installation, T&C with an emphasis on practical/field application.
- Compliance with the engineering systems and SBC’s.
- Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) provisions related to new construction, retrofit projects.
- Oversight of Energy Quality management programs.
- Review, discuss and provide feedback for Technical Scope of Works and activities, related to new project or Projects impacting on current operation sustainability.
- Conducting workshops and reviews, for new or ongoing projects, and providing feedback and snag list, based on technical knowledge relevant to SOW.
- Provide value engineering solutions on design and development projects.
- Provide technical review of the contractors proposals.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of emerging technologies relevant to the business.
- Monitor and report on KPI for systems and team productivity.
- Other duties as required to support the operation of the organization.
Education, Experience & Skills
- 5-8 years’ experience.
- Bachelor's in electrical / mechanical engineering.
Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Significant experience in MEP and FLS design, specifications, equipment’s and shop drawings.
- Working knowledge of Building Management and control systems.
- Experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- English and Arabic language (Written & Spoken).
