What you will do

As a Sourcing Lead in our Knowledge Services team, you will execute complex and strategic sourcing projects across various categories. You will translate business needs into clear Statements of Work (SOW), manage bids, lead auctions, and collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal sourcing outcomes. If you are passionate about supply chain excellence and project management, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex and strategic sourcing projects across categories by translating requirements into actionable Statements of Work.
  • Manage the end-to-end bidding process, including soliciting bids, preparing negotiation scripts (e.g., RFI, RFP, RFQ, Scorecard, Bid Analysis), leading auctions, and making supplier recommendations.
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers, onboard and qualify new vendors, and ensure compliance with contractual and organizational standards.
  • Apply business expertise and innovative thinking to help clients achieve strategic goals.
  • Support sourcing activities aligned with client standards and provide necessary information to enable teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive decisions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage project allocations, support team members during kick-offs, and share best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor performance, ensure SLAs are met, and lead initiatives to improve sourcing processes.
  • Participate in recruitment and team-building to strengthen the Knowledge Services team.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, particularly in indirect categories such as IT, HR, Professional Services, Marketing, Logistics, and Business Services. Logistics and Business Services experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset for market analysis, baseline development, and presenting findings effectively.
  • Proven success in leading complex negotiations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, assess requirements, and handle spend and risk.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like TQM, Six Sigma, or APEX is advantageous.
