Overview

We are seeking a capable Senior Site Engineer to lead and manage construction operations on a major stadium project. You will work closely with Project Management, supervise on-site activities, ensure quality, and mentor the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site construction activities: structural works, concrete, infrastructure, finishing, etc.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Implement quality control protocols; conduct regular inspections, audits; identify and resolve deviations or deficiencies.
• Monitor project schedule and milestones; proactively flag delays; implement corrective actions.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate on-site engineers, supervisors, laborers; promote teamwork and high performance.
• Communicate effectively with project management, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, site reports, engineering drawings, RFIs, etc.
• Use project management and construction software/tools as required to support planning, reporting, and coordination.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. Advanced degree or specialized certification is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years experience in site engineering roles on large-scale construction projects. Experience in stadiums, sports facilities, or similar large infrastructure is highly advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge: construction methods, materials, structural works, concrete, finishing, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a construction team; excellent problem solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Excellent command of Arabic and English, both verbal and written.
• Solid understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in the region.
• Proficiency with relevant project software, documentation tools, and reporting systems.
