Job summary

A leading healthy food delivery company in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to oversee group revenue accounting functions. The successful candidate will ensure transaction accuracy and integrity, prepare monthly reports, and manage the revenue accounting team. Ideal applicants will possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 5+ years of relevant experience, and a strong understanding of IFRS and GAAP standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily revenue transactions.
• Prepare monthly revenue reports and reconcile accounts.

• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Liaison with payment gateways and regulators.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to support the group reporting function at Calo. Will be responsible for overseeing the revenue accounting of the group and ensuring accuracy and integrity of transactions.

Main Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile revenue transactions on day to day basis in compliance with accounting standards and implementing the necessary accounting policies and procedures
• Prepare and reconcile monthly revenue reports and account balances
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records in accordance with accounting standards
• Monitor and reconcile discrepancies between payment gateway accounts and delivery aggregator statements
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivables and revenue recognition
• Liaison with payment gateways, delivery aggregators, external regulators etc
• Follow up on outstanding receivables from B2B department
• Manage, mentor, and develop the revenue accounting team, ensuring high performance, professional growth, and effective collaboration with other departments.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue accounting processes and systems, assisting in the implementation of best practices.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, or equivalent
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with revenue booking and the month-end/year-end closing process
• Working knowledge of IFRS and GAAP specifically with IFRS 15
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational and stress management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
