Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Manager, Design Governance & Strategic Design Support to join our team! In this role you will get to join the Design Excellence leadership team to drive value across a large and complex portfolio of active design projects within a giga-program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Standardise consistent design processes, procedures, best practices and guidelines
• Streamline and optimize key design management processes
• Implement design reviews at design stage gates and chair the review panel
• Govern and monitor compliance of design deliverables approved by the Board of Directors
• Conduct systematic audits and coordinate with Business Unit design management teams to ensure compliance
• Participate in design management meetings with business representatives to monitor and safeguard design intent and quality
• Collaborate with other Design Excellence Senior Managers and Managers as a leadership team driving significant value and consistency across the entire portfolio of design activities
• Manage and supervise Managers, SMEs and other supporting staff to accomplish the work of the Design Excellence verticals and strategic initiatives

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field
• 8+ years of related work experience, including significant managerial experience of a large group of Engineers, Designers, and technical support personnel.
• Professional Engineer registration with active membership in a professional engineering society
• Proven ability for managing a large group of engineering/technical personnel and directing work involving complex technical situations
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific design- and design-review related software applications for use in completing assignments.
• Arabic and English language proficiency is preferred.
• Area of deep technical specialty is preferred.
• Experience gained in recent, similar design management activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.
