Job summary

A leading cloud solutions company based in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer (GCP). This role is pivotal in operating, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise workloads on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring their security and reliability. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, enforcing cloud security, troubleshooting incidents, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate holds a relevant Bachelor's degree and has 5–8 years of experience in cloud operations, specifically with GCP. Strong knowledge of Terraform and excellent soft skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in cloud operations with at least 3 years dedicated to GCP.
• Strong background in Linux/Windows VM operations.
• Familiar with GKE-based applications or microservices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support day-to-day activities on GCP workloads.
• Manage Compute Engine instances and GKE clusters.
• Enforce least privilege using IAM and manage firewall rules.
• Lead incident troubleshooting and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Utilize GCP Cost tools for cost optimization.
