Job Title: Senior DBA Progress OpenEdge

Job Responsibilities:

• Progress DB architecture know how
• Support progress DB
• Progress DB Replication
• Progress DB dump and load, table partitioning, table move
• Database migration
• PASOE application server creation and management
• OpenEdge management
• Progress classical AppServer maintenance
• Progress Database schema changes
• Daily task monitoring
• Should have experience for the migration from 11 to 12 version
• OpenEdge STS (authentication and authorization)
• Knowhow of all the latest features of OpenEdge database and application servers
• Progress PASOE load balancing
• Progress OpenEdge TDE
• Migration of classical AppServer to PASOE
• Should have a knowhow of the connection types of progress database
• Progress SQL know how, how to create users and how to authorize the users
• ODBC and JDBC connection know how of progress

Education:

Bachelors degree in CS or related field

Experience:

5 years with minimum two years in Senior DBA position
