Position Overview

The Process Excellence Leader drives and oversees the organization's process documentation, modelling, and improvement initiatives. This role is for KSA. This leadership role is responsible for building and managing a team of process modelers, establishing process governance standards, and ensuring alignment between process documentation efforts and organizational objectives. The Process Manager serves as the key liaison between the process modelling team and senior stakeholders, driving a culture of process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of process modelers and analysts
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and deliverables
  • Set clear expectations and performance objectives for team members
  • Provide regular feedback and conduct performance evaluations
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation
  • Identify training and development needs for the team

Process Governance and Standards
  • Establish and enforce process documentation standards and methodologies
  • Develop and implement process governance frameworks
  • Define quality standards for process documentation and models
  • Create and maintain process documentation templates and guidelines
  • Establish version control and change management procedures
  • Ensure consistency across process documentation

Strategic Planning and Execution
  • Align process documentation initiatives with organizational objectives
  • Develop and implement the process documentation roadmap
  • Prioritize process documentation efforts based on business impact
  • Plan and oversee large-scale process mapping initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-functional process integration
  • Track and report on progress of process documentation initiatives

Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Facilitate process discovery workshops with executive-level participants
  • Present process findings and recommendations to leadership
  • Manage stakeholder expectations regarding process documentation deliverables
  • Address escalated issues and concerns from process owners
  • Communicate the value and impact of process documentation initiatives

Process Excellence and Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process standardization and optimization
  • Guide the development of "To-Be" process models
  • Evaluate and recommend process improvement methodologies
  • Oversee process analysis to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
  • Promote process-centric thinking throughout the organization
  • Establish metrics for measuring process performance and improvement

Knowledge Management and Capacity Building
  • Develop and maintain the organization's process repository
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer and documentation
  • Build process modeling capabilities within the organization
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops on process methodologies
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in BPM
  • Establish communities of practice for process excellence

Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in business process analysis, modeling, or improvement
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale process documentation initiatives
  • Experience in leading organizational transformation or improvement programs

Technical Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN 2.0) and other modeling frameworks
  • Experience with industry-standard process mapping and BPM tools such as Spark, Visio, etc
  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
  • Knowledge of organizational design and operating model concepts
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles
  • Understanding of major enterprise systems and their integration (ERP, CRM, etc.)
