We are seeking a professional, service-oriented Restaurant Supervisor to help lead the day-to-day operations of our upscale dining establishment. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for fine dining, and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences through attention to detail, team motivation, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support front-of-house (FOH) team during service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain high standards of guest service and hospitality in line with luxury service expectations.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to train, coach, and evaluate team performance.
- Manage staff schedules, floor plans, and shift coverage to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Assist in inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor dining room ambiance, including lighting, music, and cleanliness, to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Uphold the restaurant’s brand image and service philosophy.
- Lead pre-shift meetings and ensure staff are knowledgeable about all menu items and daily specials.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor and provide hands-on support to staff.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years experience in a supervisory or lead server role in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with various POS systems
- Ability to work well in a team environment
