Qualifications

Job description
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the Area Clinical Specialist Manager to coordinate Product Implementations within the Region
  • Coordinate clinical studies\clinical papers with academic or KOL consultants in the region
  • Present a positive/professional leadership image reflective of Masimo Corporation and CS Management
  • Area Led on performing Advanced ADC Analysis and SSA Analysis
  • Area Liaison to the Clinical Research team on active projects, to include training and support of research efforts
  • Ability to plan, organize, and deliver educational presentations to employees
  • Active participation in Irvine-based New Hire Training, Advanced Clinical Specialist Training, and Per-Diem Training
  • Coach and mentor new hire CS’s during the Field Training portion of the New Hire Training Process
  • Maintains training progress records on new hires and actively communicates with CS Regional Managers
  • Must be able to maintain an extensive travel schedule
  • Lead clinical training, education, and advanced application support for Masimo technologies
  • Act as the clinical expert during evaluations, trials, and implementations
  • Drive clinical adoption, utilization, and best-practice workflows post-sale
  • Support sales and marketing with clinical differentiation in demos, tenders, and key accounts
  • Build strong relationships with clinicians, KOLs, and healthcare leadership
  • Communicate Masimo’s clinical evidence and value-based outcomes
  • Support regional initiatives, including virtual hospitals and clinical transformation programs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliant, high-quality clinical support
  • Maintain training documentation and CRM reporting
  • Direct, plan, delegate, and manage department budget and staff, including: Hire, promote, demote, reclassify or terminate employees Write and conduct performance appraisals and disciplinary action plans Make salary decisions (pay increases or new hire offers) Create training and employee development plans
  • Handle all departmental employee relations issues
  • Performs special projects as requested;
Minimum Qualifications
  • Clinical degree ideally with MD, Anesthesia, ER, or ICU practice, or Nurse with Masters in clinical education or medical device experience strongly preferred.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to travel
  • Demonstration of leadership qualities
  • Successful completion of advanced training classes as deemed necessary by the Global Education Department and the Clinical Specialist Managers
  • Licensed Health Care Professional
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Five or more years of Critical Care experience

Education

MD, RT, Nurse with min MSc in Education is preferred

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Must be able to travel extensively, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
