About the role:

Lumi is expanding its operational excellence across logistics, rental services, and customer-facing operations. We are currently seeking a Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Officer to ensure that all quality, health, safety, and environmental standards are properly applied and continuously improved throughout our operations.

This role plays a vital part in building a strong safety culture, reducing risks across daily activities, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting Lumi’s long-term operational goals.

This role is essential in shaping Lumi’s brand visibility, managing multi-channel digital initiatives, and ensuring all marketing activities align with the company’s overall goals and growth plans.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain Lumi’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Management.
• Ensure safe work systems and safe behavioral practices across all levels of the organization.
• Provide QHSE guidance to departments and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments across maintenance, logistics, and customer service operations to identify hazards and recommend preventive measures.
• Prepare, implement, and update safety policies and procedures to minimize workplace incidents and environmental impact.
• Deliver ongoing training on safe work practices, emergency response, and proper use of safety equipment.
• Maintain accurate records, inspection logs, and incident reports in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate safety-related findings, risks, and best practices effectively to diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Support operational teams by solving day-to-day safety challenges and ensuring alignment with QHSE standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in QHSE, safety, or a related role.
• Safety certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are a significant advantage.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations, safety procedures, and risk assessment methods.
• Ability to communicate technical safety information clearly and concisely.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and results.
