We are seeking an experienced and proactive Plant Manager with a professional background in Engineering to lead the operations of our new manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. This dual-responsibility role combines full accountability for plant production management with the legal responsibilities of the accredited Health, Safety & Compliance Officer (HSE).
The selected candidate will oversee day-to-day production, engineering, maintenance, and HSE compliance, ensuring operational efficiency, workforce safety, and regulatory adherence in line with Saudi laws and international best practices.
Lead and manage all plant operations including production, engineering, quality control, and maintenance.
Define, implement, and monitor production plans to achieve volume, cost, and quality targets.
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance programs are executed efficiently to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
Manage workforce planning, training, and performance evaluation of plant staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Act as the official HSE legal representative for factory operations, registered and resident on site.
Prepare, develop, and maintain all necessary regulatory permits, approvals, and certifications for operations in Jeddah/KAEC.
Guarantee compliance with Saudi labour, health, safety, and environmental regulations, codes, and standards.
Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments, and investigations to ensure workplace safety and mitigate hazards.
Oversee implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and emergency response plans across the plant.
Build and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence throughout all plant departments.
Liaise with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders on compliance and operational matters.
Report regularly to senior leadership on plant performance, safety indicators, and compliance status.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related).
Professional HSE certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or Saudi-accredited equivalent (mandatory for legal registration).
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing or heavy industry, with at least 3 years in a plant leadership role.
Strong background in production management, maintenance, and industrial compliance.
Eligible for registration as an accredited HSE Officer in Saudi Arabia.
Demonstrated expertise in Saudi HSE legislation and operational best practices.
Proficiency in Arabic and English, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams, optimizing operations, and driving safety culture.
