Job description
Responsibilities
  • Maintain scope of work, procedures and schedules to achieve project objectives aligned with client needs and KCC abilities.
  • Control, monitor and review project progress with all concerned departments in head office and on‑sites for all activities related to the project planning.
  • Assess the contractor project program to ensure it is acceptable with resource, cost loading and update it on a regular basis.
  • Compare project progress against the master schedule and the contractor’s construction program to analyze any areas in delay or ahead of schedule and report to the project team.
  • Raise early warnings of potential risks to project delivery and identify solutions in conjunction with the project team.
  • Evaluate, in conjunction with the engineer, the contractor’s monthly progress report and application for payment and arrange for any necessary adjustments.
  • Monitor construction progress on‑site and assist the project team in the preparation of recovery action plans to address delays and keep the project on track.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil Engineering or related).
  • +5 years of experience in technical office, planning and project management.
  • Extensive familiarity with technical planning scope of works, equipment, materials, consumables, tools and manpower allocations for building projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (advanced), SPS, mini‑tab and other planning software.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and fundamental requirements of planning engineering and related fields.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a native language.
