Job Summary

Play a crucial role in the pediatric intensive care unit as a senior registrar, providing advanced clinical care for critically ill children, contributing to treatment plans and protocols, engaging in professional development, and offering valuable support to consultants in managing complex cases and implementing best practices in pediatric critical care.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate advanced clinical skills in PICU.
  • Manage complex medical cases independently.
  • Provide leadership in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and residents.
  • Contribute to the training and development of medical teams.
  • Collaborate closely with consultants and specialists in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Offer expert consultations on challenging medical cases.
  • Engage in clinical research activities.
  • Contribute to academic programs, teaching, and training initiatives.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Implement and adhere to evidence-based medical practices.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities within the medical department.

Required Qualifications
Education
  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required period of training in pediatrics.
  • (Arab, Jordanian, Lebanese) Board certification in pediatric is typically required or equivalent, fulfilling the criteria for Senior Registrar as required.
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience
  • From 02 to 04 years of experience after certification.
  • A registered member of the Saudi Board Council is preferable.
Language
  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
References
