As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood, collecting specimens, and performing basic laboratory tests. Your main role will be to ensure the safe and accurate collection of blood samples from patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and explain procedures before collecting blood samples
  • Verify patient information and confirm correct identification for each sample
  • Sterilize equipment and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Use appropriate techniques to collect blood samples from patients of all ages
  • Label and properly store specimens for testing
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests, such as glucose levels or complete blood counts
  • Record patient information accurately in electronic medical records
  • Follow all safety protocols and infection control guidelines

Requirements:
