Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the dietetics service provided.
  • Plans & implements for nutrition care for patients
  • Provides nutrition education for patients and care givers
  • Calculates nutrient and caloric intake for patients
  • Edits diet patterns and menus for patients
  • Checks patient's trays for accuracy
  • Work to ensure effective medical nutrition therapy, health promotion, and lifestyle management
  • Ensure implementation of a continuous, accurate and effective Nutrition Care Process (NCP) for all patients

Manage food service to ensure food safety and quality as part of continuously monitoring and enhancing patient meal

Skills

  • Certified Clinical Dietitian Specialist by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
  • Ability to relate well to other health professionals, patients, and their relatives.
  • Effective communication skills, with ability to impress upon patients and their relatives the importance and benefit in pursuing healthy eating habits.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to monitor, maintain and supervise the departmental processes and policies
