Job Summary

As an obstetrics and gynecology associate consultant at a leading hospital in Saudi Arabia, your role would involve providing comprehensive care to women at all stages of life. You would be responsible for overseeing pregnancy care, performing gynecological surgeries, and managing reproductive health issues. Your expertise and leadership would contribute to the hospital's commitment to delivering exceptional care to women, while also supporting education, research, and quality improvement initiatives in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides high-quality Obstetrics and Gynecology care to patients in this area of medicine.
  • Provide consultative service as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participated in research activities.
  • Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Performs special procedures as privileged.
  • Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of the required period of training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • American Board/MRCPCH-Irish, UK, Canadian, Australian & New Zealand/DES/CIS/ Diplome di Medico Specialist Italy / SCR Holland/Swedish Board/German Facharzt/Austrian Fachartz/CCST UK/Saudi Board/Arab Board & sub board/ Fellowship
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

  • Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • A registered member of the Saudi Board Council

Language

  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.

References
