Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medium Voltage (MV) Electric Motor Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the sales of our portfolio of world-renowned MV motors to industrial end-users throughout Saudi Arabia. This role is focused on identifying and securing replacement sales opportunities (brownfield projects), building strong customer relationships, and achieving ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic 'sales' plans to expand our market share for MV electric motors within the industrial sector in Saudi Arabia.

  • Proactively identify and target industrial end-users in key sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power Generation, Water/Wastewater, and Mining.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers, including maintenance managers, plant engineers, and procurement specialists.

  • Specialize in replacement 'sales' by conducting site visits, assessing existing motor installations, and identifying opportunities for upgrades and replacements.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and commercial proposals that highlight the value, efficiency, and reliability of our motor solutions.

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to negotiation, closing, and order fulfillment.

  • Collaborate with the technical and service teams to ensure customer requirements are met and to provide seamless post-sales support.

  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular reports and forecasts to management.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven field sales experience in the Saudi Arabian market, specifically selling Medium Voltage (MV) electric motors.

  • Demonstrable sales history with well-known international motor brands (e.g., ABB, Siemens, WEG, Nidec, TECO, etc.).

  • Proven track record of success in replacement sales within existing industrial facilities (brownfield projects).

  • Strong existing network and in-depth understanding of industrial end-users across all regions of Saudi Arabia.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred.

  • Must possess a valid Saudi Arabian driving license and be willing to travel extensively across the Kingdom.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.

Desired Skills
  • Experience in after-sales services, including commissioning support, troubleshooting, or maintenance contracts, is a significant plus.

  • Excellent technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex motor specifications and applications.

  • Strong commercial acumen with exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
