Job description

Hire Resolve is assisting mining organisations in hiring experienced mining professionals across Saudi Arabia. This is a multi‑role opportunity spanning several functions within the sector, including mine and plant operations, technical services, mineral processing, maintenance and reliability, projects, and HSE leadership. These roles are suited to mid‑ to senior‑level professionals and offer a clear progression path toward superintendent, manager, and senior site or regional leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or support safe, efficient mining and processing operations across surface and/or underground environments.
  • Strengthen HSE performance through risk assessments, safe systems of work, incident prevention, and audit readiness aligned to Saudi workplace requirements.
  • Drive operational performance via production planning, KPI management, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical input to mine planning and scheduling, drill‑and‑blast performance, geotechnical/ground control, and ventilation strategies (as applicable).
  • Optimise processing plant performance (throughput, recovery, product quality) through troubleshooting and improvement projects (where applicable).
  • Oversee maintenance and reliability strategies for mobile and fixed plant assets, including shutdown planning and asset performance improvement.
  • Manage contractors and service providers to ensure safe execution, quality delivery, and adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Support project execution and operational readiness activities, including commissioning support and change management.
  • Build team capability through coaching, competency development, and structured performance management.
  • Prepare clear reporting for operational leadership, governance, and stakeholder decision‑making.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology/Geoscience, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Metallurgy/Mineral Processing, HSE, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience for certain operations/maintenance leadership roles).
  • Typically 5–12+ years of progressive experience in mining, minerals processing, quarrying/aggregates, or comparable heavy industrial environments.
  • Proven safety leadership with practical experience in risk management, incident investigation, contractor control, and HSE management systems.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: operations leadership, technical services, mine planning/scheduling, processing optimisation, maintenance/reliability, projects, or HSE.
  • Familiarity with common tools and systems such as CMMS/EAM (e.g., SAP, Maximo), planning/scheduling software, condition monitoring tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel; Power BI advantageous).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in multicultural, site‑based environments.
  • English proficiency required; Arabic is advantageous depending on site and stakeholder requirements.
  • Willingness to work on‑site and travel as required; rotation/shift‑based schedules may apply.
