JASARA PMC is looking for a passionate and experienced Manager for our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and fostering a culture of safety across all levels of the organization.

As a leader within JASARA PMC, you will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to our commitment to safety excellence and environmental stewardship while working on major construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead the HSE team in conducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and implement mitigation strategies
  • Provide strategic direction and management for HSE initiatives across all projects and departments
  • Facilitate incident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure implementation of corrective actions
  • Organize and deliver HSE training programs to enhance safety awareness among employees and subcontractors
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSE regulations and emerging trends within the industry
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on HSE performance to senior management
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction sector
  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HSE programs
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 14001) are highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
