The opportunity

Capital Markets provides assurance services to clients who are developing and executing transformational strategies, such as launching an initial public offering (IPO) or planning to issue debt securities either in local markets and overseas. We provide regulatory and reporting support and advice across all jurisdictions in international capital markets. We are looking for a manager to join the team to oversee capital markets clients and engagements in the MENA region.

This is a high-profile role working with some of our most interesting clients and offers an exciting opportunity to significantly enhance your career. We are seeking CPA/CA/ACCA qualified accountants with significant audit or accounting advisory experience. This role will be based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the candidate will support client engagements in the MENA region. Based on business need, travel will be a requirement.

Your key responsibilities
  • Utilizing your skills with audits
  • Leading and delivering technical accounting support
  • Project managing transactions and coaching
  • Collaborating with audit team and client to determine a strategy that appropriately addresses the risk
  • Understand client needs and expectations and ensure work is delivered timely
  • Adherence to the relevant internal EY policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Building your network internationally

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience working with a consulting firm, in an audit or accounting advisory domain
  • Experienced in conducting audits (PCAOB audit experience is a preference)
  • CPA/CA/ACCA certification
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP will be an added advantage
  • Experience in providing services to clients undertaking capital raise
  • Strong management skills to lead teams, delegate appropriately, mentor, review performance and counsel employees
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary
