Ltd is looking for a Maintenance Manager in its Steel Foundry & Iron Casting Factory in Jeddah KSA.

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all maintenance activities to ensure reliable operation of machinery and equipment in the steel foundry and iron casting facility.

This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minimizing downtime to support continuous production and safety standards.

  • Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning & Execution

Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all foundry and casting equipment, including furnaces, molding machines, cranes, conveyors, and machining tools.

Schedule and supervise daily maintenance activities to ensure minimal production interruptions.

Oversee breakdown maintenance and coordinate emergency repairs promptly.

Team Leadership & Supervision

Lead and manage the maintenance team including technicians, electricians, and mechanics.

Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and safety awareness.

Conduct performance evaluations and maintain a motivated workforce.

Equipment Reliability & Performance

Monitor equipment performance and analyze maintenance data to identify recurring issues and areas for improvement.

Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and root cause analysis to reduce equipment failures.

Collaborate with production and technical teams to align maintenance schedules with operational demands.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Promote a culture of safety, conduct regular safety audits, and enforce safe working practices.

Investigate equipment-related incidents and implement corrective actions.

Budgeting & Reporting

Prepare and manage the maintenance department budget, including spare parts inventory and outsourced services.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation for machinery and equipment.

Report on maintenance KPIs such as downtime, mean time between failures (MTBF), and maintenance costs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.

    Minimum 7 years of maintenance experience in heavy industry or foundry operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

    Strong knowledge of steel foundry and casting equipment maintenance.

    Experience with preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies.

    Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and ERP software.

    Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
