Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Track suppliers and ensure timely delivery to customers as per the company’s delivery commitment to improve the company’s cash conversion cycle (CCC). Pay special attention to orders with a Letter of Credit (LC) or Liquidated Damage (LD) and ensure timely delivery & document submission to the bank as per LC requirements without incurring any additional cost.
• Have knowledge of Import/export clearance requirements in the Middle East & Africa, especially on product regulation (ESMA/ECAS, COC, SABER) and other ministry approvals such as TRA, MOFAIC, chemical, etc., and pre-organize them wherever possible for smooth customs clearance and delivery.
• Arrange all logistical documents as per the customer contract which must comply with local customs and VAT authority. Optimize shipping costs by negotiating with various freight forwarders and arranging the shipment as per project requirements.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all the latest ICC Incoterms – 2020 and ensure all shipments are handled as per agreed incoterms with customer/supplier.
• Be a very good team player and share logistical knowledge such as the latest customs update, regulations to sales & project teams and be ready to accept any challenges as per the company’s requirements. Maintain proper documentation for all import/export shipments.
• Have effective communication and interpersonal skills and know MS Office and SAP.
