Purpose
• Performs specimen preparation or laboratory tests as applicable.

Main Responsibilities
• Performs specimen preparation/laboratory tests according to applicable standards and/or internal documents.
• Reports specimen/test results and checks against applicable specifications.
• Assists in the resolution of detected problems.
• Identifies opportunities of improvement of laboratory processes and proposes preventive actions.
• Verifies the application and development of safety standards.

Requirements for the position

• Bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience at least 2y in similar role.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Knowledge in testing methodologies applied to steel material.
• Essential knowledge of ISO 17025 is desired.
