Job description
Responsibilities
  • Material requirement Planning (MRP) activities for assigned products/raw materials via ERP
  • Ensure the availability of minimum stock of regular materials
  • Ensure the inventory is held at minimum levels to reduce storage costs
  • Assist the receiving department in evaluating new materials and resolving any discrepancies that are related to the purchase order
  • Review end user requests for new stock or non-stock items and create material master records as applicable via ERP
  • Pre-alert reporting such as slow-moving items reports, scorecard reports and zero stock reports
  • Coordinate with Shutdown Production, Planners and Materials & logistics responsible in the preparation of materials requirements
  • Review and update material management and control procedures, policies and work instructions to maintain relevancy and accuracy
  • Monitor and eliminate absolute items and support demand forecasting to avoid any lack of material
Your profile
  • BS Degree from reputable universities
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Saudi Arabia as Inventory Planner
  • Ability to work in international teams demonstrating cultural sensitivity and social competence
  • High level of organizational skills to manage both vendor & internal stakeholders
  • ERP system experience is plus for Material Management Module
  • Advance level of English and Arabic speaking
