Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic systems and instrumentation, with skills in calibration, troubleshooting, and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control systems; troubleshoot faults; ensure safety and efficiency in plant operations.
- Execute repair, testing, and calibration of instruments; provide accurate reporting and maintain tools in good condition.
- Supervise installation and monitoring of instrumentation and control systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
- Plan sales activities, create technical proposals, negotiate with vendors, and manage project processes in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Operate plant systems, monitor parameters, manage alarms, and ensure safety during shift operations; requires engineering degree and power training.
- Electrical maintenance, control room operations, and troubleshooting of sensors; ensure safety and efficiency in plant operations.
- Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance, troubleshoot faults, ensure safety compliance, and support installation in water desalination facilities.
- Maintain medium voltage systems in water infrastructure, ensuring safety compliance and field troubleshooting.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in Seawater Reverse Osmosis plants, ensuring safety protocols.
- Lead loop checks and functional tests, provide technical guidance during commissioning.
- Develop and deliver training programs in HSE and technical disciplines; mentor trainees and enhance skills.
Qualifications
- diploma in related field or engineering degree; strong troubleshooting and IT skills; power training.
- Experience in electrical repair within smelters or steel plants, specifically on low voltage systems under 1000 volts.
- Experience in training and industrial environments; competence-based assessment skills; strong IT and presentation abilities.
- Offshore experience and qualification considerations (where applicable) and knowledge of instrumentation design and control systems.
- Chamber Certificate and Aramco approval related to instrumentation installations and quality control.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred for roles involving instrumentation design, project coordination, and offshore projects.
