Job description
Job Purpose
  • The Instructor is a position working throughout the Red Sea territory, whose primary goal is to deliver the adventure assets within the destination, whilst assisting a growing diverse inland adventure program of trails and experiences for all visiting guests to the Red Sea.
  • He/She is responsible for delivering the adventure program on all inland adventure destinations. The role requires collaboration with key stakeholders, team members, resort staff and guests alike.
  • The Instructor will be responsible for leading guests on adventure experiences and providing them with a memorable and safe outdoor experience.
  • The Instructor will provide superior customer service in compliance with the Red Sea Global policy and regulations to the Red Sea Global guests.
Job Responsibilities
  • Supporting the development and growth of unique trails and adventure destinations throughout the Red Sea.
  • Supporting the operations and delivery of all inland adventure-based activities.
  • Deliver appropriate briefing to guests prior to starting an experience.
  • Lead guests in a range of Akun Adventure activity sessions and ensure their safety.
  • Support the company’s environmental and conservation initiatives by educating guests on responsible outdoor behavior and the importance of preserving the natural habitat.
  • Maintain safety protocols for each experience including first aid training, emergency planning and risk assessment.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with guests, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Provide feedback and support to the Senior Instructor and RSSE management.
  • Ensure that guests are aware of risks associated with adventurous activities.
  • Assist with trip planning, coordination and preparation of equipment and vehicles.
  • Always maintain a positive and professional behavior with guests and staff in all circumstances.
  • Assist on the trail explorations to determine the best routes for experiences, ensuring the delivery of a high‑end experience.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Assist on the training of adventure specialists.
  • Understand the methodology behind company SOPs and RAMS, and adhere to these whilst delivering activities.
  • Ensure the delivery of high‑quality guest experiences throughout the destination, crafting a unique Red Sea service style in line with the wider program.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience
  • Wilderness First Aid Certification or First aid Certificate issued by an internationally recognised training provider.
  • Basic Land Navigation Training with experience in Natural Navigation and GPS (Global Positioning System) usage.
  • Leave no trace training.
  • Search Tracking & Operations Training.
  • Trekking/Mountain Leader training – IFMGA/UIAA/BMC preferred.
  • Additional NGB’s from accredited providers in Mountain Biking, Climbing, Archery, High Ropes, Quad Biking.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' work experience within the tourism industry, experience in Saudi Arabia is advantageous.

  • The candidate must be fluent in both written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate in a second language such as Arabic – a distinct bonus.
