Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems and components across various machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical knowledge of hydraulic principles, the ability to troubleshoot faults efficiently, and the expertise to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, inspect, and troubleshoot faults in hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and related components.
  • Perform repairs, overhauls, and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Assemble, install, and test hydraulic systems and components according to technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Replace defective parts and reassemble equipment, ensuring correct alignment and calibration.
  • Maintain and update maintenance logs, service reports, and equipment records.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Ensure all work complies with quality assurance guidelines and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors to plan and prioritise repair tasks.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior mechanics or maintenance staff.
