Job Title: Hematology Oncology Consultant

Short Description

An Excellent opportunity to join as a hematology Transfusion Medicine Consultant for one of the most prestigious and top-tier leading Hospital in Taif, Saudi Arabia.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • To provide diagnostic and consultative services to physicians and patients in accordance with privileges granted.
  • To participate in educational programs for the staff, Medical Technology students, interns, and residents participate in continuing education for laboratory staff and staff physicians.
  • Serves on Hospital and Departmental committees as directed.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of new techniques and services. Actively participates In the Quality Improvement program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of the required period of training in hematology transfusion medicine.
  • American board/ FRCS -Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/Diploma d'Etuded Specialises (DES) / CIS French Board/Facharzt & Sub - Board / Fellowship with Experience as per Job Description
    post Board / Fellowship, CCST UK Certificate ofCompletion of Specialist Training (UK).
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience
  • Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in hematology Oncology medicine.
  • A registered member of the Saudi Board Council
Language
  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
